Challenge

Cafe Karibo wanted to increase the number of events held in their private dining room. Despite a large local following on social media, their audience primarily consisted of locals who didn’t need event spaces. Additionally, few people knew about their extended Sunday Brunch hours, and they needed a platform to promote their restaurant, catering services, and daily specials. They also required high-quality multimedia content for various marketing channels and a strategy to manage and respond to online reviews.

Solution

To attract new audiences for private events, we implemented PPC advertising through Google Ads, and launched YouTube campaigns using high-quality commercial video footage we shot (above) of their atmosphere, food, and event space. 
We targeted vacation planners and individuals under their target demographics interested in dining and private events in Amelia Island. We also utilized Facebook Ads to promote new Sunday Brunch hours and enhance brand recognition. We post specials and highlighted menu items on Instagram and Facebook to update followers and stay top-of-mind, responding to comments for community management. We additionally conducted multiple content shoots, which translated to a refreshed website, maintained monthly. We tie all of this together through reputation management, by monitoring Google My Business and Yelp accounts and responding to customer reviews.

Results

The PPC campaigns drove thousands of online orders, clicks for directions, and social media engagement, significantly increasing private event inquiries and bookings. The Facebook Ads for Sunday Brunch hours received over 17,000 impressions, leading to more restaurant revenue. On social media, Cafe Karibo’s accounts amassed over 10,000 followers and achieved over 1,000,000 impressions in 2023, with projections to surpass these numbers in 2024.
The multimedia content produced has been extensively used across various platforms, enhancing the restaurant’s marketing efforts. The review management strategy enables our team to respond personally to all reviews, fostering customer appreciation and addressing negative feedback constructively.
